From Anatomy to Forensic Anthropology: It's in Our Bones!
Dr. Sittiporn Ruengdit
Chiang Mai University, THAILAND
This is a hands-on workshop designed for individuals who are interested in advanced osteology and forensic anthropology.
This workshop provides a comprehensive exploration of the linkages between human anatomy and forensic anthropology. Through interactive demonstrations and case studies, participants will explore current methodologies in both metrical and non-metrical analysis of human skeletal remains, including techniques for estimating age at death, sex, ancestry, and stature. The workshop will also cover a brief of personal identification methods, skeletal pathology, anatomical variations, and trauma analysis, offering valuable insights into current forensic practices.
Participants will leave with a greater appreciation of how bones serve as key evidence in unraveling forensic mysteries and a solid foundation in the techniques that forensic anthropologists use to bring clarity to complex investigations.

Futuristic Planning of Anatomy Practical Guided by AI Tools
Professor Dr. Nilesh Kumar Mitra
IMU University, MALAYSIA
This workshop will utilise AI tools along with actual anatomical specimens to create lesson plans for gross anatomy practical sessions. Participants will also have the opportunity to practice their plans in order to assess the gaps and improvements in the lesson plans suggested by the AI tools, ultimately enhancing the learning experience for students.
At the end of the workshop, the participants will be able to:
Explain the definition, purpose, and steps in developing a lesson plan.
Understand the use of effective prompts in generating appropriate responses from Generative AI.
Utilize AI tools to create lesson plans and worksheets for practical sessions that use specific anatomical specimens or models.
Conduct a mock teaching session to identify gaps and improvements in the plans suggested by AI tools.
